Server
With a built-in Web and FTP server, the VB-C10 can transmit video
images directly to your PC without the need for a Network Camera Server. Simply
use the camera's standard Ethernet connection to hook up the unit to your
computer via the Web or your LAN. In minutes, you'll be viewing still or full
motion video live from the camera's location. The VB-C10 is TCP/IP, HTTP, BOOTP,
FTP, and NTP compatible, making it easy to integrate them into your network
video system.
Wide Pan, Tilt and Zoom Ranges
With a wide range
of camera motion and focal length, the VB-C10R lets you see everything you need
to see. The Genuine Canon 16X Optical Zoom Lens gives you a wide view that can
be increased to a full 65 degree field of view using the optional wide angle
adapter. With the ceiling-mounted VB-C10R, you get the same range of focal
lengths and a tilt range of 100 degrees. But, you get even more coverage with a
340 degree pan range.

Flexible Capture Rates and
Resolution
The VB-C10 gives you the flexibility to capture images just
the way you need them and in a way that matches your network environment. You
can capture smooth, full motion video at a capture rate of 30 frames per second,
at 320 x 240 pixels. (Motion-JPEG is used for image compression.) You can also
vary the video capture size, depending on your needs: from 160 x 120, to 320 x
240, to 640 x 480.
In Automatic Image Capture mode, camera can capture up
to 5MB of still images -- either schedule-based or sensor-activated. With
flexibility like this, your video network will be exactly what you
need.
External Device Triggering
You can tell your cameras when
to record by connecting them to external devices such as door sensors or alarms.
